Laura Rikman is an artist that lives and works in Madrid.
Graduated in Fine Arts between Madrid and London, she was always obsessed with the beauty and fashion portrayed in paintings by the old Masters.
After specializing in burin engraving at the Spanish Royal Mint, she discovered the Cabinets of Curiosities and the Fashion called “Lover’s Eyes” in England by the 18th Century, and started creating pieces inspired by them. Many of her pieces are known for having eye miniatures based on famous artworks she paints by hand.

Laura has focused her unique creations for Les Fleurs Studio in up-cycled vintage pieces, like treasures she carefully curates. By adding handmade paintings or drawings on the original vintage jewels, she gift them with the second life they deserve. The result is an affordable jewellery collection of hand painted details based on famous paintings in order to make Art History part of our wardrobes.
Necklaces, brooches, earrings, chokers, buttons: each piece is made with delicacy, using the same techniques and materials that were used for fine old miniatures such as watercolour or gouache on ivory, gems or silver.
These techniques are sustainable and require great precision and concentration, being a slow, careful and very personalized production.
